Welcome to MikeNifongDA.com

Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong's campaign website, mikenifongda.com, has been revised. Once used to tout his campaign for DA, the site, registered in January of 2006, now offers advertisements for ethics training, election services, criminal defense attorneys and more.
"Welcome to Mikenifongda.com. If you're looking for tax attorneys, ethics training, defense jobs or anything similar, go ahead and browse our comprehensive resource directory. You ought to find something interesting!"
Incredibly, two North Carolina law firms, the Welch Law Firm and Teddy & Meekins, have sponsored link listings on the site.

The domain itself is also now for sale: click here to bid.

Please Note: This is not a parody.

A rational person, being caught flagrante delicto, as was our Mikey, wouldn't have the chutzpah to continue a website like this one. But, we all know Nifong is a certified sociopath and he feels no shame for being found out. If I were a candidate for a PhD in psychiatry, I'd jump on this case--what a classic doctoral thesis!!!

Is this a joke? Not for real, right? This guy is in orbit around his own planet.

    Defence Jobs??

I'm guessing Nifong gave up the URL and whoever now 'owns' it put the current links up. Dunno, just a guess.

    lol tho -- ethics training??

Oh, yes! This is the gift that keeps on giving. I never have seen a DA give us so much entertainment as has Nifong. Now that the charges are dropped, Nifong watching has become a spectator sport.

I am thankful that he has driven me to drink, as though I needed an excuse....

  11. This guy registered the site, according to whois:

    Massey, Jack masjack@juno.com
    masjack Marketing
    212 Mill church Rd
    Arnold, MD 21012

And the minimum bid he'll accept is $400! Bwahaha!

The rush is on! Who is going to get mikenifongda.com? Let's see, how many Mike Nifongs are running for DAs? Demographics don't look too good!

  14. LieStoppers,

Granted that this site is not a parody. I suspect, however, that it has no connection with Mike Nifong.

Perhaps Nifong let the registration lapse after the November election, and this Jack Massey then registered it.

If an entrepeneur in Massey's shoes had a somewhat sly sense of humor, this might be the sort of "placeholder" content he would put up, while awaiting his $400 "minimum bid."
