Thank you Liestoppers/Anybody But Nifong. You work is smart, sophisticated and amusing. But seriously, thank you for giving the Durham voters another option. Anybody but Nifong sure beats voting for Nifong. I hope you win!

Very funny.

I've seen the defendants pictures over and over again. It's good to see this assemblage of the other characters. Every one of those guys has something to answer for. Hold their noses to the grindstone! Good work.

Who is Crowther, please?

Anonymous said...

Crowther? Isn't he the shrink that advised Nifong to stop taking his meds and that it was ok to listen to the voices in his head?

Anonymous said...

Crowther writes for an irrelevant local publication. He would have you believe that if you trust in the innocence of the Duke 3, you are showing your "inner racist."

Oh, I thought that was Michaels. So there are two of them?

One's an innie, the other an outie. Both are full of lint.

Why is all the media seemingly purposely hiding the Gottlieb incident?

Why isn't it being followed up and reported to the citizens. We have a right to know who beat that man, we have the right to the truth, for ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to be ignorant, but who is Clement? It's hard to keep all the bad guys straight.

LieStoppers said...

Clement is a Durham City Council member. His crimes include overt race, class and Duke baiting.

Thanks. Did he sound off early on? I had never come across him. Haven't heard anything from him or Baker or Bell lately, have we?

LieStoppers said...

Yes, he was very vocal early and has retreated with Baker and Bell. Here's two articles that might help.

"There's a definitely a feeling in the Duke community that N.C. Central is the lesser institution, and I've heard Duke students make that statement," said Howard Clement, a Durham councilman for 23 years. "I don't think that's something we should ignore."

Thanks. In the first article he says he was “repelled and repulsed by those trying to equate her with Tawana Brawley of decades ago.”
Does that mean he's repelled and repulsed by us?

And, no offense, but isn't NC Central the lesser institution? Not their fault, just the truth. If we shouldn't ignore it, doesn't it mean we should make Central better instead of prosecuting innocent Duke students?
No need to reply. Thanks for the info.
