Best thing the Republicans have done in a long time!
I would really like to see some "Democrats for Cheek and Justice" come forward. Lewis is a Democrat, and so is Mike Easley. I understand the general tendency to endorse the primary winner, but this is an extraordinary election.
Easley's not a Democrat; he's an incompetent Republican who's to blame for appointing Nifong in the first place.
Easley is most definetly a Democrat.
easley is a democrat and he is a graduate of nccu law school!
Easley appointed a number of other DAs, not just Nifong.
It's not uncommon at all for a DA to be appointed.
