Thank you, thank you! I didn't see this last night and I am sooooo glad you posted it. When "Pernicious," Mikey and Nancy Grace become SNL skits, you know that the Hoax is imploding.

Thanks for posting this! Too realistic to be funny; but reached a huge audience and for that I'm ecstatic!

could have been MUCH funnier, but i suppose it served it's purpose.

Bill in Brooklyn after watching the SNL skit notes:

Yes it was funny and also kind of sad. But folks, this is wonderful. For SNL to do this kind of skit, shows that it is all all over. It is now accepted beyond those of us that have been following this case horrified, that there is no case and that LAX 3 are innocent.

Nifong has become a national joke and that is a good thing. But what also needs to happen is for the entire Duke administration and the Group of 88 to be jokes. Because their actions and continued non-action is despicable. They failed the courage test and now they fail the awareness test. The SNL skit demonstrates that from a PR basis they are behind the curve and are way behind on damage control.

Nancy Grace makes my blood boil, not just with the Duke case but with how she handles other cases as well. I would encourage others to do as I have, email CNN and tell them you will no longer watch their news station as long as she has a show on it. Hopefully, if enough people complain our voices will be heard!

Imagine this: Harris Johnson or Victoria Peterson channel surfing, and seeing this skit. They probably thought it was real, and took it seriously. I mean, after all that's unfolded, can't you imagine one of the group of 88 actually saying something like what's in this comedy bit?

I agree that this skit was significant because SNL is openly saying that this case is a fraud, and CGM is a liar, along with Nifong. Does anyone believe that SNL or anyone else on the networks would have done such a parody last spring or even last summer?

Oh, and I need to add that Nancy Grace and her sidekick, Wendy Murphy, are evil.

Personally, I love SNL doing Nancy Grace--however, i think this could have been done better...my take on it would have gone as follows...

Nancy: Hello frieeeeend....I'm here tonight to discuss the (emphasize each word) Duke, Lacrosse, Multiple, Gang, Rape (blink)...while it has come to my attention that much of the media, the country, and my collegues have been duped by the defense spiiiin (blink), and they are believing this privileged hooligans (blink), I am here to show you the facts. Jon, show us the stats (cut to the lame clip of her and the lax stats *joke*)

Here with us tonight is WRAL correspondent "name"...so tell me, are these boys in fact, maaaaaale?

"Name": Yes..yes nancy, they are...male..

Nancy: Mmhmm ok so that does in facccct make them guilty does it not?

"Name": Um..no, Nancy, it makes them...male?

Nancy: Mmmhmmm but is being male not a crimeeeee? Are womennn(harsh face) not the victims of males every day?

something along those lines...harp on the fact she is a psycho feminist.

Not funny....
If I were a member of the player's family I would not be laughing at the last part of this skit.

This was a very funny skit. I would think Duke players parents would think the last part of it was funny too. Nancy has been totally unfair with the Duke players from day one. And once the news turned bad for her she stopped covering this. The woman is evil. I am very happy SNL did this skit. And the best part of it is that it will be shown again on cable. It will show up on DVD's. This skit might in small part help repair the reputations of these players.

As I said before, this skit could not have been put on six months ago or even three months ago. Notice that there are no calls in the media today to censor SNL for being "insensitive" to rape victims.

This tells me that the consensus is turning across the country, and it is going to have an effect upon what happens in the courtroom. I will state again that I have serious doubts that this case ever will go to trial.

Oh, yes. Nancy Grace is evil.

For those of you unfamiliar with Nancy Grace, she has:
1) As a prosecutor, played "fast and loose" with ethics on numerous occassions
2) Has lied about the details of her history as a "victim" for publicity and sympathy.
3) Kept questioning Elizabeth Smart (the little girl who was kidnapped and abused by cult members) about the details of her captivity when she made it clear that she didn't want to talk about it.
4) Recently been sued for wrongful death for aggressively pushing an interviewee to suicide.
5) and of course, played fast and loose with the truth in her reporting of the Duke rape hoax.6
6) I'm sure she does something wrong everyday, but I don't watch CNN anymore (and neither does anyone else who doesn't enjoy wasting his/her time), so this'll have to do...

I am friends with one of the LACrosse player's Fathers. He and I went to school together. I can tell you - this has ripped the family apart, as well as placing them in a strange place in the community. Now their home is for sale and they are moving. Way to go, Mike Nifong.

Where do these boys go to get their reputations back?

Where do the families go to get their dignity back?

I hope Nifong is indicted for Prosecutorial misconduct, found guilty and held up as the laughingstock that he is. This is NO District Attorney with honor, integrity and respect. He's a sick joke - and he's ruined the lives and careers of 3 young men.

I do not watch CNN anymore because of the twitty bird. If FOX continues to have Goslee and Murphy - its me and MSNBC.

nbc is blocking viewing of this video on youtube while promoting the showing of the "Dick in a Box" video from Justin Timberlake on SNL as reported in todays NYT. Gutless.
