Flashback to June 22, 2006
.
"Item number eight, a report of the meeting on April 10, 2006, among you, referring to me, Investigator Himan, Sergeant Gottlieb, and Brian Meehan of DNA Security, Inc. At this particular meeting, Your Honor, we were given copies of the DNA Security report, which has previously been furnished to the defense team, and we discussed how we would be using those items and that report and that investigation at trial. Those items are not discoverable, no report has been generated. The report itself they have. The discussions are not available." - Defendant Nifong responding to discovery motion at June 22, 2006 Hoax hearing. (Hearing transcript page 16, lines 14-25)
.
"As far as eight and nine, there's similar arguments I would like to make to the Court. I understand what Mr. Nifong said about eight and that is the report of a meeting on April 10th among Mr. Nifong, Investigator Himan, Sergeant Gottlieb, and Brian Meehan, and as I understand what he says, there was no discussion at all that wasn't attorney work product at that meeting." - Joe Cheshire at June 22, 2006 Hoax hearing. (Hearing transcript page 20, lines 17-24)
.
"That's pretty much correct, Your Honor. We received the reports, which he has received, and we talked about how we would likely use that, and that's what we did." - Defendant Nifong responding to Cheshire's request for clarification of the Defendant's prior assertion regarding the April 10, 2006 meeting (Hearing transcript page 20, line 25 to page 21, line 3)
.
Fast Forward to January 16, 2007
.
"I am aware that Inv. Himan has written in his report that I was also present at a meeting at DNA Securities on April 10, 2006. I can only report that I have no recollection of that meeting and that I have no documentation or other evidence that I ever attended such a meeting." - Defendant Nifong in his January 16, 2007 letter to the North Carolina State Bar Grievance Committee.

Ouch! Nifong is caught in yet another lie to the Bar. Will he never stop? Read the handwriting on the wall, Mikey. It's over. Surrender your license and resign as DA.
Is someone making sure this information is provided to the Bar?
unreal! you just can't make it up. wonder if Himan, ODB and Meehan "can't recall" too?
Cough, cough, cough! And my eyes are buring from all the gunsmoke!
Oops! Tillie! Tillie! Did you eat my Homework again?
It's worth noting Cash Michael's latest article (http://wilmingtonjournal.blackpressusa.com/news/Article/Article.asp?NewsID=76649&sID=4). In it he states that "To even the casual observer, it seems a sure bet that the remaining charges in the Duke lacrosse alleged sexual assault and kidnapping case will be dropped, as one source says, “any day now.” He also seems to be abandoning Nifong in the rest of the article. Looks good for the LAX players and bad for Nifong

I am not Cash. I did think the article indicates that everyone is jumping ship
WOW - congrats to whoever remember this exchange. Thanks for publishing and reminding us. CC to the bar.
Busted......... LOL
Cash? I thought that old goat would never stop beating that dead horse. Nifong should really save himself a lot of trouble and resign as DA and surrender his license to practice law, but he won't.
