Time to call The Hoax...a "Frame"

You can call "removing your clothes for money"
A "performance obligation."
And, just call Brian...Crystal's "driver"
If that cleans up the situation.
.
You can call Fantastic Lies, "confusion"
Forget that "Clyde" is Jakki's name.
Say there were no "bald cops" at Blinco's...
But... it's time to call this Hoax , a "Frame."
.
Believe in Dave's disappearing mustache.
Believe the photo at the door
Was Crystal begging for re-entry,
Her tarnished virtue to restore.
.
Call Gottlieb's novelette..."perfect notes"
That sprang in truthful detail from his brain.
Call Elmo..."Durham's Master Handbag-Thief...
"But...it's time to call this Hoax, a "Frame."
.
Call Nifong..."Durham's Best D.A."
And say he just didn't understand
That seventy-five preening interviews
Might be somewhat "out of hand"
.
Shopping judges, hiding evidence
Call that a common D.A. game.
Defend Durham justice all you like.
But...it's time to call this Hoax, a "Frame."
.
Say the Players had magic DNA
That disappeared! Yes, every speck!
Yet left behind um-m-m..."evidence" of other guys!
An amazing, miraculous trick!
.
Insist that DNA lasts weeks and weeks!
It survives the laundrymat, you claim?
Project Innocence? Call that irrelevant!
Yup, time to call this Hoax..a "Frame."
.
Yes, call "Pole Dancer," a shy young thing
Visiting motels for the Welcome Wagon.
Insist the NC-NAACP website "overview"
Leaves their credibility, unsagging.
..
Insist a Durham jury can be fair.
Hate and bias didn't fan the flame.
Oh, yes, prevaricate, hijack, and obfuscate!
But, PLEASE...it's PAST time to call this Hoax...a "Frame."

Fair report on the case on Hannity & Colmes last night; did nayone else watch it? Given the time limits imposed by producers, the report was pretty good. Looks like they may have consulted the evil blogosphere.....

Its time to ask why the NC Attorney Generals office is taking so long to finally drop all charges.

It is time to expose Crystal for the lying, deceitful, false accuser that she is. Its time to plaster her picture on the news and hound her and her family.

Carolyn says:

Dang, Joan. How do you DO it? Crystal can't get her facts right, the Gang of 88 can't even get its syntax right - but you not only do both, you make it rhyme!

Awesome.

I can not help but wonder how this poem and cartoon fits with the plea from Hoax Day entry above yours;

"Remember the blind ignorance of of bias directed at Collin , Reade, and Dave. Let's reject it in any form in ourselves...in honor of what they've suffered..."

The Hoax Day post asks to remember what we have learned. I thought we learned to not be pot bangers and not be victims of blind vengeance and Ignorance. Do we honor that message when we draw hatefull cartoons and do cute diddies about the first person to question the credability of the Hoax perp. and who has supported the LAX players all along?

Has anybody shown that the CrimeStopper board has not addressed this Durham Police Dept. travisty with the DPD before? Will you apoligize when you find out that they have?

Did you notice that on your copy of John in Carolina's transcript of the "wanted" poster that he noted that it was on Durham Police stationary and that the CrimeStoppers option of sending information was listed as the "ALSO" not the primary information channel?

Have you taken the time to communicate with Sue before becoming a Pot Banger yourself? Dean Sue has always been a strong supporter of Duke student and Duke athletics. If you will not (or can not after publishing your unfair account here) communicate with Dean Sue, please contact Bob Harris, who you quote on your masthead, and educate yourself about who you are slandering. That is of course assuming that you are seeking Justice rather than self entertainment.

There is much to rage about in the Hoax but trashing a friendly is not advancing your cause.

To David Page,

If it is true that Dean Sue was compassionate and supportive of the players and their families last Spring, then, yes, I will apologise.
If it is truly incorrect that she told them "not to contact their parents", I will certainly apologise.

If it is true that Dean Sue, as a Board member of CS, has been assisting the parents and their attorneys to uncover how those libelous and potentially very dangerous posters were produced and distributed , yes, I must apologise.

I have spent years serving on volunteer Boards in my city. If it is true that Dean Sue did everything in her power in her dual positions..to stop the printing, distribution, and propaganda on those posters, and to expose those that maliciously did so... I will apologise.

If she has called JinC, and/or the local Attorney or anyone trying to unravel how such posters could go out under the auspices of Crimestoppers and shared all the information SHE has in her DUAL positions... so that this will NEVER happen again, I will apologise.

Have you thought of the harm those posters did? Where is your outrage at what these boys and families endured...still ARE enduring?

Truly, I would be happy to be wrong...to learn that there had been one person in an offical position who stood up to the tryanny of bias and hate that prevailed last Spring. And to be informed..that behind the scenes, Dean Sue has behaved in such a way to counter all the betrayal these boys and their families have felt.I would so much like to be wrong.

You may E-mail me at Liestoppers. I am ready to hear what you have to say...and yes, I will and MUST apologise if you are correct.

Dean Sue commenting on the team to the H-S.Later these comments were proven false. Has Dean Sue apologised?

"Duke's athletics director, Joe Alleva, had warned Pressler to get his team "in line" following a high-level review of disciplinary records last year, The (Durham) Herald-Sun quoted Alleva as saying Monday.

The paper also quoted the dean of students, Sue Wasiolek, as saying her office had compiled a "disproportionate" number of violations and that about half the team had been cited for alcohol violations and disruptive conduct."

Alleva Coleman's Ad Hoc report proved this false.

David Page, Was there a March 25 meeting? Here is a post from John in Carolina's blog:

Pretty interesting stuff:

QUOTE
The first demand any of the 50+ parents had at 12:15 p.m. meeting 25 March 2006, was that L. Minneta, S Wasiolek, J Alleva, immediately remove from GODUKE.COM the 2006 roster. The group that assembled after the cancellation of the Georgetown was assured the roster would be removed. It is interesting that Dean Sue on the board of CS; before Duke removed the pictured roster from the web site GODUKE.COM she assisted ptl. Addison produce the vigilante/wanted poster. END QUOTE

I discount the posters later accusation that Dean Sue assisted in the production of either set of posters, or that even Addison had anything to do with the Viligante Poster.

But the 1st part, if true, about a March 25th meeting and a demand of Duke Admin principals quickly take down the names, pictures, and hometowns of the players to protect them from exposure to danger or harassment is awfully important.

1. Parents warned of a specific danger.
2. Duke, in the role of loco parentis under liability law, did nothing for 9 days.
3. This allowed the construction of the Vigilante Poster (April 4th-5th)which ended up getting postered all over North Carolina in the form of the N&O publication and nationally on "anti-white" websites.
4. Players were harassed, retaliated against, and threatened in consequence. Many were pulled from school and studies disrupted because of the danger. Significant follow-on financial expenses of the parents happened in consequence.
5. It gets harder for Dean Sue and others to argue that the Crimesoppers Wanted Posters and the Vigilante were completely off their radar. It only makes them look even more careless and negligent about addressing a danger the parents demanded Duke fix in their loco parentis role to claim ignorance of the existence or ramifications of the posters.

Because the poster appears to have mixed in bad information with what appears credible - the March 25th meeting, warnings, and Duke Admin attendees, I would ask any well-informed poster or actual student or parent involved if they can confirm the March 25 meeting happened as the poster recounted.

To 5:08 a.m.. There was a 3/25/06 parents meeting with Duke officials, including Dean Sue, and the points you list are accurate. In addition, Duke officials chastised the parents for engaging independent counsel to represent their sons. The meeting was well documented by the parents.

Mr. Page,

Speaking of blind ignorance…

Your bluff suggesting that CS is due an apology for having addressed the poster with DPD won’t hold. Dean Sue herself admitted in an interview with KC Johnson that the board has not addressed the poster with DPD nor even with each other yet. Despite being on the CS listserve where a copy of the text of the poster was distributed, Dean Sue claimed blind ignorance to its existence until this week. The poster is scheduled to be discussed, supposedly for the first time, at the next CS board meeting, a full year after CS produced the poster using DPD stationary as you call it.

Does your attempt to call this a DPD travesty and DPD’s statement that they had nothing to do with the CS production indicate that DPD and CS will try to point fingers at each other with no one accepting responsibility?

It's hypocritical for you refer to Ms. Foster's poem as an expression of blind ignorance when you attack her with your own blind ignorance.

Perhaps it is you, sir, who should apologize.
