Jon Stewart was at his absolute best, in that he lets those who make such ridiculous statements indict themselves with ... well, their own statements.

It works for Bush, it certainly worked here, for nothing could have driven home the point more clearly that Grace is a caterwauling fumbledick.

Also, the final cut leading up to Thursday's show when we all expected to see Grace and instead got a fill-in, was classic. Nothing screams intellectual and moral coward like not showing up when you have been proven irrevocably wrong.

I was hoping Jon would touch on this case, I just didn't think it would be this damn funny and on point.

I laughed so hard that I had trouble breathing for a few minutes. Truly, Jon Stewart at his devastating best.

I was disgusted by Grace's unfairness throughout the Duke hoax, but, to be fair to her: She was scheduled for a public appearance in Delaware long before anyone knew Cooper would make a statement that day. My wife attended and said Grace had this to say about the Duke case: "If the players are innocent they should not be prosecuted. If the accuser made it up, then she should be prosecuted." Too little, too late obviously. My wife's other comment was that she was shocked that Grace is so short and fat. Hey, don't kill the messenger, I'm just reporting what I was told!

Hey, can I be sued if I have a "Honk if Nancy is raping your puppies" bumper sticker?
