Four day and six hours into our "Linwood Wilson Gets the Axe" timer, the News & Observer is reporting that The Fixer will no longer be employed by the Durham County District Attorney's office as of tomorrow.

Linwood Wilson, who served as District Attorney Mike Nifong's chief investigator, will be out of a job tomorrow.
Candy Clark, administrative assistant for the Durham district attorney's office, confirmed this afternoon that Wilson will not be an employee there in the morning. She could not comment further on the departure.
