Duke vs. Army Men’s Lacrosse Game and Post Game Tailgate with the Team
Saturday, April 19th Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Join New York Area Duke Alumni and friends for a great family day of Lacrosse as DCNY attends LACROSSE DAY OF CHAMPIONS benefiting the LEAD THE WAY fund, which supports Army Rangers and their families in honor of Army Ranger Sgt. James Regan, Duke LAX ’02 who was killed in Iraq in February 2007 and the Indians Rock Community Foundation which supports athletic facilities in the Manhasset area, on Saturday, April 19th at Manhasset High School in Manhasset, Long Island.
Arrive by 11 a.m. to be sure to be seated by 11:30 a.m. when ARMY Ranger Paratroopers will parachute onto the field. The game will begin at 12:00 p.m. After the game, Duke Lacrosse Players’ Families and DCNY will host a Tailgate from approximately 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. featuring barbecue chicken, hotdogs, hamburgers, potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, dessert and soft drinks. The Duke Lacrosse Team and coaches will join us after they have had a chance to change.
Tickets for the Tailgate are $17 and must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets for the Tailgate please send a check payable to DCNY, an SASE and the coupon below as directed.

Tickets are LIMITED – we recommend you purchase them as soon as possible and no later than Thursday, April 10th. You’ll see that ticket/wristband delivery through the fund is slightly complicated.
Email julie.ehlers@alumni.duke.edu with the name on the credit card that you used and the # of tickets you ordered and Julie will include your game wristbands with your tailgate wristbands and additional information about the event. Since the game tickets are tax deductible, DCNY decided to not include them in the price of our event. Game wristbands are good for the entire day which includes a Men’s High School Lacrosse game between Manhasset HS and Chaminade HS and an evening LAX game between the FDNY and NYPD followed by fireworks.
