How could any Judge let this made up evidence into a court of law. Nifong certified he had submitted the entire file as of May 18. Now Gottlieb writes up 33 pages of notes from memory & three written pages in a four month investigation. Why have discovery?
Osborn warned of this to Judge Stephens in motions. Looks like Osborn knew how corrupt Durham PD is!
Thanks to the NYT for clearing up one mystery: we now understand why "Baldo" wasn't charged in tne Blinco cook assault.
Everyone's saying the 33 page report and Gottlieb will be ripped apart on the stand...but it will never get that far. Both Nifong and Gottlieb know that, so they spun a little yarn to help prop up Nifong's actions so he can limp through the election...then the case will be dropped.
I just learned from our local librarian that they are going to publish Gottlieb's 33 page report. It will shelved under "Fiction-Humor".
