"...it was clear that there was no credible evidence that these crimes occurred at 610 N. Buchanan Blvd. in Durham that night.
Because of the lack of evidence and the additional affirmative proof that these crimes did not occur during this time, the Attorney General along with his special prosecutors, Senior Deputy Attorney General James J. Coman and Special Deputy Attorney General Mary D. Winstead, believed it was in the best interest of justice to declare these three individuals innocent of these charges."

Damn, LieStoppers, you are awesome! I heard just a few seconds ago the AG's report was being released - and the instant I go on your site, I find it already downloaded. You people are incredible!
Quick read: the something happened crowd will be pleased...
"I told you so"
To 1:00:
"something happened"? yeah, a team party with a couple of strippers who danced for maybe 10 minutes, got insulted by crude remarks, took refuge in the john, were persuaded to come out (and were apologized to more than once) and left. Shocking.
BTW, while reading the stuff about the party, it struck me how totally "out of control" (as the lacrosse team has been described in the media) it WASN'T. The 3 guys who lived there kept a lid on the offensive behaviors, apologized to the dancers, made the guys who took the money put it back, told everyone to leave before it got too rowdy and the neighbors called the cops, etc.
I'm just tellin you....be prepared for the something happened crowd to crow about this. They will see only rich white boys drinking and hiring strippers. Period.
They will see only rich white boys drinking and hiring strippers. Period.
They'd be right. That's what happened, and that's ALL that happened. The anti-lacrosse folks would've had the moral high ground if the fake rape/kidnapping/assault charges hadn't been pursued. Too late now.
Because of this LIAR. Three families had to spend over 3 million dollars?
Let the lawsuits begin!
Nursing Notes recommended approach:
Subjective - what the pt tell you
Objective - what you observe and vital signs
Assessment-No diagnosis- complaint
Plan - How the complaint will be managed by the nurse - Doctor Sick Call
Nice touch for the AG to confirm that it was Dancer II who hurled the first racist and sexual insults. Guess the nosy neighbor must have missed that one, huh?
Not condoning what a Duke kid might have said, but ... she's one mighty classy lady.
OMG they have video of her unable to walk claiming to be a cop. This woman needs to be locked up in a mental institution.
Ambien, Paxil, Amitriptyline and Methadone! Clearly the breakfast of champions.
I agree with the AG and the SP's that bringing charges against the woman would not be in the interest of justice. But she is CLEARLY and COMPLETELY a threat to herself and others. She should be instutionalized.
HA, for you SOAP people...
s: I was raped, beaten, and sodomized
o: Vitals normal, No evidence of trauma anywherer, bizarre affect
a: Bipolar disorder, Drug seeking behavior
p: Refer to pysch, do not prescribe narcotics as patient is a drug seeker.
I tend to agree with Gak. A prosecution would not be in the interest of justice, but an involuntary committal hearing would be. It is the second which should be pursued in the interest of justice, something that has been in very short supply in this case.
11:42 I agree in the main. Why did none of the four Doctors who treated Crystal do that? The Doctor's do the ordering and move the patient along as they deem appropriate. In spite of Nurses Peggy Perfect, the nurses only carry out the Doctors orders.
By the way, that should be r/o means rule out-nurses do not make diagnosis. P - plan should be - refer to Doctor.
