This man passed a bar exam????? Unbelievable.......
Freedman was, in a word, underwhelming as a lawyer.
It doesn't look very much like Greta let him get away with too much spin in this interview. I almost felt sorry for him, trying to defend the indefensible.
Have you seen Atty. Bourlon? I think in N.C. , it must be like getting a fishing license!
I hope he preforms as well as he did with Greta in the Bar proceedings. LMAO
Wow, Freedman is unbelievably, how shall we put it, "dim." The NC Bar officials have "quality control" problems that extend far beyond Nifong. That said, let's hope the NC Bar takes things one at a time and just fries the vile Nifong.
FREEDMAN: Well, but if you have investigators, you have — you believe in to get the facts. Part of the problem Mr. Nifong was concerned about was that if he met with the — rightfully or wrongfully — he felt if he met with the accuser, it potentially makes him a witness in the case.
VAN SUSTEREN: That's absurd.
Absurd, indeed!
Freedman is supposed to be a terrific lawyer - I am sure he is -trying to defend Nifong is difficult, if not impossible - David looked embarassed - John Bolton would be a better defender- John has a silver tongue and no shame.
Isn't this the same guy who early on, went on one of the talking head shows and publicly criticized Nifong's handling of this?
I think this episode gives the lie to the notion that "good lawyers can get their clients out of trouble." In Nifong's case, he could have Clarence Darrow up there, and it would do no good.
Bill, Didn't Darrow withdraw from OJ's defense team? Darrow wouldn't touch Nifong with a 10 foot pole. He wouldn't allow his reputation as a brilliant lawyer of the highest integrity be sullied by that son of a bitch.
