Thanks for the cartoon, Baldo! It was, as usual, extremely funny and true. Gregory
x'd-da lol
And this fool was elected DA of Durham?? My puppy ate my law license?? This was the man Mayor Bell, City Manager Baker, Chief Chalmers, Duke 88, and the progressives of Durham supported while he indicted three guys for a crime that never happened!
I don't believe his stupidity started March 2006. This guy was a joke when Hardin told the Gov Easley appoint him.
I have never understood why this cartoon insisted upon using lower case "da" instead of DA.....is it supposed to be cute? It always sounded like "duh" to me. Kind of seems a little ignorant to people outside LS bloggers who see it.
Thanks Baldo!
I wonder if Mikey has saved his cartoons?
I see the "lower case" foul comment points out "always", as if they have not missed reading any posts here, and then goes on to give us what is evidently survey results from "people outside LS bloggers".
kpb
The "always" in my sentence referred explicitly to MY perception, as in "it always sounded to ME." So since you are not aware of how I feel, you cannot comment on what things seem or appear to ME. I do not know how YOU always feel about something, either. The "always" did NOT refer to the use of "da" in the cartoons. So read before you spew. And "people outside LS bloggers" refers to the people who may see the Baldo cartoons posted on my door.....they have no idea what Liestoppers is, never been there...and they have tried to sound it out like "duh," or like a Sopranos "the." "Da spagehtti's cold again." So, you have illustrated your own instant and ignorant leap to conclusions based upon total defensiveness. Not a thinking man.....
Mike Nifong ==> duh
if the "outsiders" don't get it, maybe they should come on in.
Sometimes, insiders don't get the point of some of the cartoons -- that doesn't diminish the humor to those of us that do....
